Jack Lalanne Juicer

No doubt you have heard of Jack Lalanne and you are probably amazed at his health and fitness. After all he is in his 90′s! Although he definitely does not look his age. We would all love to look as good as he does when we are half his age. Jack has long been a person who pursues all things healthy. He exercises regularly and eats a healthy diet. He also is a big fan of juicing. He even created the Jack Lalanne Juicer, also known as the ‘Original Juicing Machine’. His juicer is still a juicing leader on the market.

Jack encourages juicing for many different reasons, of course the first one is for health. But he also strongly recommends juicing to help the environment. By making your own juice you will cut down on the landfill waste created by plastic juice bottles. As you may know, plastic takes 500 years to break down so cutting back on that waste would be beneficial. When you juice you use more of the fruit or vegetable and the waste (or pulp) that is left over can be easily composted for reuse in your garden!

There are several different models of the Jack Lalanne Juicer available today, including the Power Juicer, the Power Juicer Deluxe and the Power Juicer Pro. We will take a look at the features of each one.

First of all the Jack LaLanne’s JLPJB Power Juicer Juicing Machine. This is a basic juicer, but a workhorse as well! It creates a delicious juice that has only what you put into it. Now you won’t get the clear apple juice you buy at the store. But you need to remember that store bought juice has been strained and processed to the point that most of the good nutrients are gone. The juice you get from this machine will be thicker and not clear but it will be full of the nutrients that the full fruit offers. As with any juicer, there is considerable clean up involved. Since it is made of plastic you will want to clean it immediately after using to prevent staining. This is a great entry level juicer that many people find is perfect for all their juicing needs.

Next we have the Jack Lalanne’s JLSS Power Juicer Deluxe Stainless-Steel Electric Juicer. Really the only difference between this on and the other is the fact that it is stainless steel. This finish is a plus because you will not have staining from the various fruits and vegetables you run through it. Other than that, they are pretty much the same machine.

Last we will look at the Jack Lalanne PJP Power Juicer Pro Stainless-Steel Electric Juicer. Another great addition to the Jack Lalanne juicing family. Like the other two, it has a very quite motor so you can make juice without sounding like a jet engine taking off! The parts are dishwasher safe for easy clean up.

It goes without saying that whatever Jack Lalanne does to look as great as he does at his age is working. If he suggests juicing to improve our health it is sound advice we should heed. The Jack Lalanne Juicer is a great way to get started juicing for better health!
